JTEKT Bearings (formerly known as Koyo Bearings) is gradually expanding its business activities from OEM markets to the MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) market via distributors. Recently a move closer to the "final user" was made with the introduction of the ONI wheel bearing for the (semi)professional bicycle race market. The ONI bearing that features extremely low friction combined with superior durability, was tested during the Amsterdam triathlon race in September 2023. For MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) machines in hospitals, special non-magnetic bearings are used for optimal medical scanning performance. Eğik bilyalı rulmanda eksenel asimetrik yuvarlanma yolu vardır. Eksenel yükler rulmanın içinden düz bir şekilde geçmekle beraber, radyal yükler eğik yolla geçmektedir. O eğik yolun, yuvarlanma yolunu eksenel bir şekilde ayırmaya eğilimi vardır. Böylece, hem diş hem de iç yuvarlanma yolların temas açışı aynıdır. Eğik rulmanlar birleşmiş yüklerle birlikte (hem radyal hem de eksenel yönlü) daha iyi çalışmakta. Rulmanın temas açısı ise verilen yüklerin miktarlarına uyumlu olmalıdır. Temas açısı arttıkça (standart olarak 10 ve 45 derece arasındadır) rulmanın da eksenel yüke karşı direncı artar, fakat aynı zamanda radyal yükleme kapasitesi azalır.
