Avoiding "bearing creep" is an underestimated challenge when designing the proper roller bearing for certain applications. Bearing creep happens when the outer rings moves relative to the housing in which it is mounted. Simply applying a light press fit seems easier than it practically is and may cause other functional problems. On February 5-6 Koyo participated with a representative booth at Ditzinger’s DITEC fair in Braunschweig. xxxEin Kegelrollenlager ist ein Lager, in dem Kegelrollen (stumpfe, kegelförmige Rollen) zwischen der Vertiefung (äußerer Ring) und dem Kegel (innerer Ring) eingesetzt sind. Die Rollen werden durch das Führungsbord geführt.
Diese Rollen sind bei niedrigen bis mittleren Drehzahlen radial und axial hochbelastbar. Kegelrollenlager sind in ein-, zwei- und vierreihigen Varianten erhältlich. Bei einreihigen Lagern liegt die Axialbelastung bei ungefähr 60% der radialen Belastbarkeit. Zweireihige Lager weisen eine größere radiale Belastbarkeit auf und können axiale Belastungen aus beiden Richtungen handhaben. Die Rollen können so konfiguriert werden, dass die Kontaktlinien zu den Kugelschalen in Richtung der Drehachse zusammen- oder auseinanderlaufen. Auseinanderlaufende zweireihige Lager erhöhen die Rigidität des Wellenstrangs, zusammenlaufende Lager tun dies hingegen nicht. Weitere Konfigurationen für zweireihige Lager umfassen ein einzelnen Außenring und zwei Innenringe oder zwei Außenringe und einen einzelnen Innenring. Vierreihige Kegelrollenlager bestehen aus vier Reihen abwechselnd angeordneter zusammen- und auseinanderlaufender Rollen.
